This is a common BUT most cooked Filipino recipe. I mean, we cook this a lot. AND very easy to make. You can serve this with brown rice.
1 lb Chicken thighs. cut into serving portions
1 Medium onion, made into rings
4 Cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 Cup soy sauce
1/4 Cup white vinegar
1/2 Cup water
1/4 Tsp black pepper
Bay leaves (optional)
Heat large skillet. Add oil, when heated saute garlic and onion. When the garlic has turned golden brown and onion transparent, add the chicken. Saute for 3 mins. Add water, vinegar, black pepper, bay leaves, and soy sauce. Cook for 30-40 mins or until the sauce has thinned. Serve hot.
