Blackened Chicken

Blackened Chicken

Here is one healthy dish to feast your mouth on. It is Whole30 compliant as it is low carb. Do enjoy!


INGREDIENTS:

1 lb chicken thighs, skinless
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven @350* F

In a mixing bowl, mix all the spices and sprinkle seasoning to chicken meat liberally on both sides.

In a skillet, heat olive oil and pan sear the chicken on both sides for 5 mins. each.

Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Served with your favorite steamed vegetable.
