Crockpot Beef Stew

Steaming Stew




This is my first time to cook a crock-pot dish. Just prepare everything and put them in the pot. But then again, it's not instant. I have eaten my share with a limit to ONE potato and then some meat without much of the soup.

INGREDIENTS:

7 Medium red potatoes, cleaned thoroughly
6 Red tomatoes, sliced
1 Carrot, peeled and cut into bite size
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
1 Onion, chopped
1/2 Cup flor
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp pepper
1 lb. Beef Stew Meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 Tbsp Olive oil
1/2 Cup water

DIRECTIONS:

Mix flour, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Dredge meat with the mixture. Making sure everything is covered with flour. Put in separate container.

Heat oil in skillet, fry meat until brown. Remove. Put meat in the crock-pot dish. Add water, tomatoes, and the rest of the ingredients. Place the potatoes and carrot on top of everything else.

Cook in slow cooker for 10-12 hours.
