Snappy cauliflower and broccoli saute

Snappy cauliflower and broccoli saute

Trying a different saute mix and it came out real good. This is still part of my carb substitute foods.

It was paired with smothered pork chops. That was good!

INGREDIENTS:

1 large cauliflower head, cut into florets
1 large broccoli head. cut into florets
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
snow snap peas, trimmed
2 tbsp butter
Italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

In a heated skillet, melt butter, saute garlic and onion. Add all the vegetables. Cook in medium high heat, stir occasionally and cover. Add the Italian seasoning accordingly. Cook for 5-10 minutes, enough that it is still crispy but no longer raw. Season with salt and pepper.

This can be eaten by itself. ENJOY!
