Good old soup for a cold weather. I made this for my mom who has been badgering me to cook the fish head!
You don't need tons of directions to make this since this is a super easy recipe. Anybody can do this and be successful at it.
INGREDIENTS:
1 1-2 lb fish head of Grouper (or any fish of your choice)
1 Medium tomato, quartered
1 Medium onion, quartered
salt to taste
3 green onions
1 Small bundle of Spinach
2 Liters of water
Ginger, peeled and sliced
1 Stick of lemon grass, knotted
DIRECTIONS:
Heat water in a pot. Add tomatoes, onion, ginger, and lemon grass. Bring to a boil. Add fish. Cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt. Stir. Cook for additional 2-3 minutes. Add spinach. Remove from heat. Serve hot.
Note:
This dish has a total of 372 calories, or 21 net carbs. That makes it 127 calories and 7 net carbs per serving. This is good for 3 people.
