Okra Salad

Okra Salad

I am going to share with you a recipe that I have grown up eating with. I love the taste of this and how perfect it is to go with dry foods (grilled, fried, you name it).

There are many things that you can do with an okra, and I still have a long way to go in learning the other ways. BUT, this super easy recipe will keep you coming back for more (THAT is if you are fond of something SOUR).

This serves as an appetizer or side dish.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pk frozen or fresh okra, cooked according to package or boiled
1 cup white vinegar
salt to taste
1 roma tomato, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 knob ginger, sliced and chopped thinly

DIRECTIONS:

In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients and season with salt according to your taste. Add the okra. Serve with your main dish.
