American Fries

American fries with grilled chicken

This is too tasty that it is hard to think about the portions, I tell you.

We are grilling chicken legs for dinner and I suddenly remembered the sauteed potatoes I had from the Peking house from Baraboo, WI that I decided to make my own version of it. So here's the recipe I made for you to try on:

INGREDIENTS:

2 Medium red potatoes, halved and sliced just like pictured above
4 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tsp pepper
1 Tbsp dried parsley
Salt to taste
2 Tbsp oyster sauce

DIRECTIONS:

Microwave potatoes in oven for about 3 minutes. Baking them in the oven makes you spend less time frying them.

Heat oil in skillet . In a bowl, mix pepper, parsley, oyster sauce and pour it to the potatoes. Fry potatoes until brown. Pour remaining mixture while frying. Sprinkle with salt. Serve hot.

This is only a good for two serving, you can adjust the number of potatoes and the seasoning accordingly.

Bon appetit!
